The aroma is of very ripe, melting fruit. Notes of apricot, white peach, a hint of orange, honey, and yellow flowers like sweet osmanthus. It has a gorgeous, sweet, yet elegant aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it has a surprisingly smooth, slippery texture. The sweetness and acidity are both firmly concentrated and strong, yet the flavor spreads gently, softly, and is extremely elegant and delicate. A truly noble taste. A sweet wine with a noble taste that leaves a very long, happy aftertaste.

味わい

淡くゴールドを帯びて輝くイエロー。

非常に熟してとろけそうな果実の香り。杏や白桃、かすかにオレンジ、さらに蜂蜜や、キンモクセイのような黄色い花。華やかで甘やかだが、たいへん気品のある香り。

口に含むと、驚くほど非常に滑らかな、すべるような舌触り。甘み、酸味ともしっかりと凝縮し強さを感じるのに、その広がりは優しく、柔らかく、この上なく上品で繊細。まさに高貴な味わい。

幸福な余韻も非常に長い、貴い味わいの甘口。

首都ウィーンから車で1時間ほど離れた、ドナウ河の北岸傾斜にぶどう畑があります。マントラー家がワイナリー経営をはじめたのは200年前です。かつての修道院の敷地で農業とワイン造りを行っています。父のヨセフは2002年の大洪水をきっかけにオーガニックに転換しました。「同じことをこのまま続けていたら、モノカルチャーと土壌劣化の結果、工業的農業は終焉へ向かうだろう」と考えたのです。ぶどう栽培においては、とにかく観察。何を必要としているか、どのような環境にさらされているのかをしっかりと見抜き、腐植質豊富な土壌にすることで、自然と土壌が豊かになることを目指しています。醸造では、その年の特徴が自由に表現されることを願いつつ、人的介入が最低限になるように心がけています。現在は父の教えを守りつつ、三兄弟が中心となって運営しています。
