Wine set description

We have put together a wine set of wines that go well with Japanese food that you will want to enjoy during the cold season, such as yellowtail and radish, mizutaki, and sukiyaki. If you like Japanese food, these wines have beautiful and gentle flavors that you should definitely try.

Description of each wine

• Cotes de Provence Rose [Left]
  For Mizutaki made with good local chicken with firm muscles, we recommend a rosé with a rich, fruity flavor. This one is dry, but has a strong freshness and fruitiness that makes you feel as if you are eating raw fruit. Its clean flavor without any unpleasant taste is perfect for Mizutaki chicken.
• Burgundy Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Red [Medium]
  A red wine from Burgundy that is perfect for pairing with beef shabu-shabu. The gentle and elegant tannins go well with the refreshing flavor of beef. The astringency is very fine and the texture is extremely elegant. It goes great with sukiyaki and beef shabu-shabu. It also goes well with rich beef stew and steaks with a rich sauce, so please give it a try.
• Gascony Pinot Noir Red [Right]
  A light-bodied red wine that goes well with yellowtail and daikon. It has an aroma reminiscent of cherry blossoms and a refreshing fruit flavor with the roundness and smoothness of Pinot Noir. It is a very clean, light and easy-to-drink bottle.
