This red wine was produced in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Nuits region of the northern Cote d'Or. It has a complex yet elegant and memorable aroma of purple red fruit, roses, and subtle hints of cocoa and spices. It has a rich fruity flavor that spreads out, and while it has a sense of finish, it is gentle and delicate on the palate, and has a fine astringency. This is an organic Burgundy wine that you can enjoy with a long aftertaste.

Taste

Bright, sparkling ruby.

The vibrant aroma of red fruits and the beautiful aroma of roses are simply gorgeous. Behind it are hints of cocoa, spices, and a strong minerality. The finish is elegant and memorable, while still retaining a complex aroma.

When you put it in your mouth, the rich fruit flavor spreads out along with a strong, clean acidity. You can feel the burst of red fruit in your mouth, but the mouthfeel is soft and delicate, with a finely grained astringency. The aftertaste is very long.

About the Pelletier family

Chateau de Premeaux (Pelletier family)

Organic history: Since 1999

Located in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges, south of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. The wine farm purchased the chateau in 1920 and has been passed down from father to son. Currently, Arnaud, the fifth generation, is in charge of grape cultivation and brewing. Some of the fields have been organic for a long time, but all of them were converted in 2012. We are proud to be able to teach our children that our land is cultivated in a way that does not pollute the earth, and that we should drink and eat things that are good for our bodies. Most of the Pelletier family's wines are for individual customers in France and are difficult to obtain even in France. By brewing each plot separately, we are able to bring out the terroir (soil) that we cherish.
