The grapes are carefully selected one by one, and then fermented in 300L barrels, undergoing alcoholic fermentation and aging. Taste

Its deep crimson robe gives off an elegant yet bold complex aroma of violets, cassis, and cocoa.

In the mouth, you can feel the strength and balance. The tannins are extremely soft, refined and elegant. The aftertaste of black fruit, liquorice and a hint of pepper will captivate the drinker.

About the Boullier family

Chateau de l'Ou (Boullier family)

Organic history: Since 1998

It is located in the Roussillon region near the Spanish border. It is a vineyard with a very long history, having been excavated and created by the Knights Templar. It was purchased in 1998 and the first wine was made in 1999. The climate is Mediterranean, with frost rarely falling in winter and hot summers, which allows grapes with high sugar content to grow. In order to leave healthy land for their children, they have been practicing organic farming since purchasing the vineyard. The winemaking is led by his wife, Severine, who is described as a perfectionist for her uncompromising attitude in all aspects of cultivation, harvesting, and brewing. The Boullier family's wines are characterized by their elegance, which combines strength and suppleness. The name of the chateau, "l'Ou," means egg in Catalan, and comes from the fact that the reservoir (horse watering hole) on the premises was egg-shaped.
