What is the original wine for the anniversary?
Message from the producer (Revol family)
The first anniversary wine! The producer, Fabien, himself introduced the two types of organic wines that the Revol family offers in a video . The filming took place in February, so the vineyards were still quiet, but we hope you will enjoy watching the video and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the local area.
About Red Wine
To everyone in Japan and Mavi.
Hello, I'm Fabien from Domaine Bleu, in the Cabardès region in the south of France. Today I'd like to introduce two wines to you.
The first wine is being used as the "60-40 with love" Mavi 26th anniversary wine.
The grapes blended are Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon: 60% Syrah and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The terroir in which the grapes are grown is a clay-limestone plot.
This wine has a soft taste, light acidity and lovely fruitiness.
It is also a light wine in terms of alcohol content. At 11.5%, it is very easy to drink.
It also goes well with charcuterie and other meat dishes and lightly spiced dishes. I like to drink this wine slightly chilled and fresh.
Please enjoy the Mavie 26th anniversary wine produced by Domaine Breau.
About white wine
The next white wine we would like to introduce is also a commemorative wine from Mavi.
The grapes blended this year are Roussanne and Colombard. The main grape is Colombard, with a little Roussanne. Colombard gives it a fruity flavor and exotic fruit notes. And Roussanne gives it a soft flavor.
The wine has an alcoholic content of 12% and a characteristic acidity that is also present in other wines from Domaine Belo.
This wine goes very well with appetizers and fish dishes. The pleasant acidity tickles the tongue and makes you want to drink more.
I hope you enjoy it with your friends and loved ones.
There are more robust white wines out there, but this wine is easy to drink and goes well with the first meal or an aperitif. Please give it a try.
Message from the producer (Achar family)
We received a message from Thomas Achard of the Achard family, who will be producing the sparkling wine to commemorate the company's founding.
