It has a gorgeous aroma of citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit, herbs and white flowers. It is a delicate and elegant white wine with a well-balanced concentrated fruitiness and sharp acidity, and a long finish. It is an exquisite wine that can be paired with a wide range of meat dishes using white meat such as chicken and pork, as well as vegetable dishes.

味わい

レモンやグレープフルーツなどの柑橘系の果物や、林檎の蜜、フレッシュなハーブに、ジャスミンを思わせる白い花の芳香が華やかで特徴的。ミネラル感もしっかりと感じる。この上ない気品を感じる香り。

凝縮感のある果実味とシャープな酸味。強靭な酒質を感じながらも、その仕上がりは非常に繊細。

長い余韻の最後には華やかな白い花の芳香がふわりと優しく香る。

今まで味わったことのないような、ひとクラス上の「繊細さ」を教えてくれる、いつまでも記憶に残りそうな白。

首都ウィーンから車で1時間ほど離れた、ドナウ河の北岸傾斜にぶどう畑があります。マントラー家がワイナリー経営をはじめたのは200年前です。かつての修道院の敷地で農業とワイン造りを行っています。父のヨセフは2002年の大洪水をきっかけにオーガニックに転換しました。「同じことをこのまま続けていたら、モノカルチャーと土壌劣化の結果、工業的農業は終焉へ向かうだろう」と考えたのです。ぶどう栽培においては、とにかく観察。何を必要としているか、どのような環境にさらされているのかをしっかりと見抜き、腐植質豊富な土壌にすることで、自然と土壌が豊かになることを目指しています。醸造では、その年の特徴が自由に表現されることを願いつつ、人的介入が最低限になるように心がけています。現在は父の教えを守りつつ、三兄弟が中心となって運営しています。
