SO2-free wine special
As a general rule, Mavi wines contain the minimum amount of SO2 ( sulfur dioxide ) necessary.
This is because, in order to deliver organic wines at their best, we ask that the minimum amount of SO2 be used in the wine.
However, we are thoroughly committed to our policy of " making natural wine ," and if we are convinced by the local producers that the wine is the right one, we sell it without adding any added SO2 .
In this special feature page, we will introduce the role of SO2 (sulfur dioxide) in winemaking and the wines that Mavi offers without added SO2 .
