This red wine is made by the Piva family in Entre-Deumere, Bordeaux, between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. It is finished without barrels, but is made using fully ripe Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, so it is very drinkable. It is an organic Bordeaux wine with a mild astringency, full-bodiedness, and an elegant taste.

味わい

赤い果実の香りが凝縮されたボルドーの赤。渋みが穏やかで、ふくよかさがあり、エレガントに仕上がっています。

折り目正しくも穏やかな味わいで、さりげなくいつもと違う気分を味わうのにぴったりです。程よい重さなので、正統派フレンチはもちろん、和食にもあわせていただけます。

ぶどうは、サンテミリオンやポムロールに似た傾向の畑で栽培されており、このワインは畑に最適のメルローを主に用いて醸造されます。

オーガニック歴：1984年から

ボルドー地方に2つのシャトーを所有しています。北イタリアで代々ワイン造りに携わってきましたが1924年にフランスボルドー地方・アントルドゥメールに移りました。1961年シャトープショーラルケ、1989年にシャトーセニャールドポミエを購入し、2つのブランドでワインを造っています。ずっとオーガニック農業を続けてきましたが、環境に敬意を払いお客様の健康に留意するため1984年に認証を取得しました。2つのシャトーはそれほど離れてはいませんが、標高や土壌の違いから全く異なる味わいのワインとなります。ワイン造りにおいて特に大切にしていることは月です。祖先の教えに従い、月の動きによりぶどうの選定からワイン造りまでを行います。数々の受賞歴があり、メダル受賞の多い農家の一つです。

個人的な好みなのですが、ずっしり重たい飲み心地が好きなので、期待していたずっしり感とは少し違いました。優等生のような端正なお味でした！

渋みはやや控えめで、柔らかい味わいだと思います。幅広い料理とあわせられるのではないかと思いました。
