The moment you pour it into a glass, the aroma rises up in a flash. There is a hint of vanilla, but the tone is low, and the floral scent that lingers in your nose is reminiscent of perfume made with Iris Pallida from Grasse, a sunny Cote d'Azur. Compared to cognac, it has an extremely dry taste that can be enjoyed simply. As an after-meal drink, it is recommended not only to drink it straight, but also to mix it with soda and garnish it with lemon to create a French highball. If you don't like the sweet taste of cognac, we recommend you try Armagnac.

アルマニャックの生産地としても有名なフランス南西部、ガスコーニュ地方。他のぶどう産地に比べて湿度が高く、オーガニック農業には難しい土地ですが、研究熱心な父のダミアンの「もっとこの地方の特徴が表現されているようなワインを造りたい」との想いから2001年にオーガニックに転換しました。現在はカルフォルニアとアルザスのワイナリーで経験を積んだ息子のクレマンが引き継ぎ、この地の更なる可能性を模索しています。醸造ではフレッシュな味わいを大切にしており、できたワインも冷蔵管理するなと徹底した温度管理を行っています。
