A medium-weight red wine made in a vineyard overlooking Carcassonne, a World Heritage Site in Languedoc, southern France. A blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, the characteristics of each variety are expressed in a well-balanced way. The aroma of red and black fruits, cinnamon, and spices from Syrah. A comfortable balance of fruitiness, tannins, and acidity.

味わい

若さと力強さを感じさせる濃いルビーガーネット。

香りにはラズベリーやレッドカシスなどの可愛らしい赤果実に、ブラックチェリーなどの黒果実、シナモンなどのスイートスパイスが感じられます。シラー由来の、血や鉛筆の芯のようなニュアンスも。

味わいはドライで、快活としながらも強すぎず上品な酸味が印象的。果実味とタンニン、酸味が素晴らしく調和しています。

シラーらしい少し野性的でスパイシーさのある味わいと、カベルネソーヴィニヨンの程よいグリーン感のあるアロマのバランスが心地よい1本です。

Domaine de BRAUは世界遺産で有名なカルカッソンヌ近郊にあります。気候は地中海と大西洋からの影響を受けており、そのおかげで南仏とボルドーの両方のぶどう品種が栽培できます。2020年にレヴォル家が前所有者のタリ家から畑と醸造所を受け継ぎました。タリ家は1980年代からオーガニック農業を続けており、オーガニックワイン農家としてはパイオニア的な存在です。40年以上もオーガニックを続けている畑は生き生きとした生命力で溢れています。レヴォルさんはタリさんが実践していたオーガニック栽培の先を行く、自然農法を目指しています。ワイン造りに関してはタリさんのスタイルを継承せずに、極力樽を避けて、ぶどう本来の風味が引き立つ醸造を目指しています。涼しい夜間に収穫したぶどうを低温で醸造したり、醸造過程ごとの温度管理の徹底、出来たワインをすぐに瓶詰するなどの工夫をしながら、新しいワインの開発に意欲的に取り組んでいます。

Love シラー＆カベルネ 赤

シラーが大好きなので、カベルネとのブレンドはどんなお味なんだろうと好奇心いっぱいで購入しました。開栓してすぐから、バランスよく、甘みと余韻が気持ちよく、ごくごく飲んでしまいました。ラベルもポップで、楽しい気分をさらに広げてくれます。
