This dry white wine was made in a vineyard overlooking Carcassonne, a World Heritage Site in Languedoc, southern France. Made from 100% Viognier, it has a fruity and floral aroma reminiscent of white peach and tropical fruits. The aroma and charm of this white wine emerges little by little after pouring it into the glass, so it's definitely one to enjoy over time.

味わい

透明感のあるレモンイエロー。

熟した白桃やアプリコット、ほのかにマンゴーなどのエキゾチックな果実の香り。

アカシアやカモミールの繊細でフローラルな香りも感じます。温度が上がってくると、濡れた石のようなミネラル感も。

口に含むと、トロピカルなフルーツの果実味や残糖感があり、ほどよい飲みごたえ。酸味は控えめですが長く上品に続きます。

グラスに注いでから時間とともにさらに魅力が引き出される、エキゾチックなヴィオニエです。

Domaine de BRAUは世界遺産で有名なカルカッソンヌ近郊にあります。気候は地中海と大西洋からの影響を受けており、そのおかげで南仏とボルドーの両方のぶどう品種が栽培できます。2020年にレヴォル家が前所有者のタリ家から畑と醸造所を受け継ぎました。タリ家は1980年代からオーガニック農業を続けており、オーガニックワイン農家としてはパイオニア的な存在です。40年以上もオーガニックを続けている畑は生き生きとした生命力で溢れています。レヴォルさんはタリさんが実践していたオーガニック栽培の先を行く、自然農法を目指しています。ワイン造りに関してはタリさんのスタイルを継承せずに、極力樽を避けて、ぶどう本来の風味が引き立つ醸造を目指しています。涼しい夜間に収穫したぶどうを低温で醸造したり、醸造過程ごとの温度管理の徹底、出来たワインをすぐに瓶詰するなどの工夫をしながら、新しいワインの開発に意欲的に取り組んでいます。
