The mouthfeel is dry, with a gradation of calm acidity that lingers for a long time. The delicate yet powerful tannins and firm fruitiness make for a taste that makes you want to savor it rather than just drink it. The aftertaste is long, with the acidity, tannins, and fruitiness lingering beautifully.
This Syrah is a model for Languedoc in southern France, with a slightly wild flavor.
