Taste

The finish is fresh and juicy, with notes of pear, white peach, grapefruit, herbs, etc. It has plenty of fruitiness and minerality from the soil, making it a wine that pairs very well with fish dishes, crustaceans and shellfish dishes.

We own two chateaux in the Bordeaux region. We have been involved in winemaking in Northern Italy for generations, but in 1924 we moved to Entre-Deux-Mers in the Bordeaux region of France. We purchased Chateau Petit Chaud L'Arque in 1961 and Chateau Seigner de Pommier in 1989, and produce wine under two brands. We have always practiced organic farming, but in 1984 we obtained certification in order to respect the environment and to be mindful of our customers' health. The two chateaux are not far apart, but the differences in altitude and soil result in wines with completely different flavors. The moon is particularly important in winemaking. Following the teachings of our ancestors, we select grapes and make wine based on the movement of the moon. We are one of the farmers who have received many awards and medals.
