This is a slightly heavy red wine made in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley in France. It is made using Cabernet Franc grown in gravelly fields, and has a moderate drinkability. It has nuances of raspberry, stewed blueberry, violet and green pepper. Sable, made by the same producer, is made using grapes from sandy fields, while this Gravier has a more solid impression. The tasteful label makes it perfect as a gift.

This wine is produced by the young Boisard brothers and is attracting attention in Paris.

Even though they have already reached a considerable level of perfection, the Boisard brothers continue to research day and night without getting tired of it. Considering their future potential, it's definitely one to keep an eye on!

About the producers, the Boisart family

Domaine du Mortier (Boisard family)

Organic history: Since 1998

Our vineyard is located in the Loire region, which spreads around the Loire River and has a rich and varied landscape. We took over the vineyard from our parents in 1996. Starting with 3 hectares, we gradually expanded it to 12 hectares today. Due to the damage that humans have caused to Mother Earth, we as farmers, artisans and wine growers felt strongly that we had to protect the land, so we started practicing organic farming in 1998. We have also been using biodynamic farming since 2006. The entire domaine practices the philosophy of "being with nature" with solar panels, rainwater collection and farming by animals.
