A full-bodied dry sparkling wine from Bordeaux. Made from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris, and fermented in the same bottle as Champagne, Cremant has delicate bubbles and a good drinkability. It has a gorgeous aroma of pear, apple, and white flowers. It is a refined organic wine with a fresh fruitiness, fresh herbs, and a firm minerality.

Wine Details

Taste

Very pale yellow gold.

Fine bubbles gently rise up inside.

As you bring the glass closer, you can smell fruity aromas reminiscent of pear and apple, a hint of white flowers, and a very strong minerality, with a refreshing herbal accent.

When you put it in your mouth, the fresh bubbles and the fresh fruitiness like apple spread. The taste is also wonderfully balanced with the refreshing herbs. The slight bitterness in the aftertaste tightens the aftertaste in a well-balanced way.

This sparkling wine is very fruity and easy to drink, with a gentle fruit flavor that stands out. We highly recommend this to women.

About the Piva family

Chateau Pouchaud Larquey (Pivat family)

Chateau des Seigneurs de Pommyers (Pivat family)

Organic since 1984

We own two chateaux in the Bordeaux region. We have been involved in winemaking in Northern Italy for generations, but in 1924 we moved to Entre-Deux-Mers in the Bordeaux region of France. We purchased Chateau Petit Chaud L'Arque in 1961 and Chateau Seigner de Pommier in 1989, and produce wine under two brands. We have always practiced organic farming, but in 1984 we obtained certification in order to respect the environment and to be mindful of our customers' health. The two chateaux are not far apart, but the differences in altitude and soil result in wines with completely different flavors. The moon is particularly important in winemaking. Following the teachings of our ancestors, we select grapes and make wine based on the movement of the moon. We are one of the farmers who have received many awards and medals.
