This is a slightly full-bodied red wine made in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley in France. Made using Cabernet Franc grown in gravelly fields, this wine has a moderate drinkability. It has nuances of raspberry, stewed blueberry, violet and green pepper. The carefully selected fruit has a good balance of moderate acidity, and the texture is slow and elegant.

Taste

This wine is produced by the young Boisard brothers and is attracting attention in Paris.

Even though they have already reached a considerable level of perfection, the Boisard brothers continue to research day and night without getting tired of it. Considering their future potential, it's definitely one to keep an eye on!

Raspberry, stewed blueberry, violet and green pepper nuances. Concentrated fruitiness with moderate acidity and structure. Silky smooth on the tongue. Surprisingly elegant and well-rounded. Excellent balance.

It's a very well-crafted product, but it's also gentle enough to seep into your body without tiring you out. This flavor, along with the stylishly designed label, is sure to make you show off your good taste if you give it as a souvenir to a party or other special event.

About the producers, the Boisart family

Domaine du Mortier (Boisard family)

Organic history: Since 1998

Our vineyard is located in the Loire region, which spreads around the Loire River and has a rich and varied landscape. We took over the vineyard from our parents in 1996. Starting with 3 hectares, we gradually expanded it to 12 hectares today. Due to the damage caused by humans to Mother Earth, we felt strongly that we, as farmers, artisans and wine growers, needed to protect the land, so we started practicing organic farming in 1998. We have also been using biodynamic farming since 2006. We practice the philosophy of "being with nature" throughout the entire domaine, with solar panels, rainwater collection and farming by animals.
