Many wine lovers may think of the Italian "Malvasia" when they hear "Malvasia", but there are very few producers who grow "Malvasia" in the Catalonia region of Spain. It is a very precious wine. It has a concentrated fruitiness and a very long aftertaste, making it a masterpiece with a strong presence comparable to Grand Vin. It is powerful enough to stand up to main meat dishes such as pork and duck. If you want to enjoy white wine with meat dishes, we recommend pairing it with "Penedès Malvasia".

味わい

凝縮感があり、非常に余韻が長く続くタイプ。グランヴァンに匹敵する、存在感のあるワイン。豚肉、鴨といったメインの肉料理にも負けない力強さが魅力。熟成を重ねると、白ながらにジビエ（鳩、雉など）にも合うそうです。

ドメーヌ名の「ベガ」は、七夕の織女星（こと座で最も明るい星）として知られていますが、スペイン語では「肥沃な土地」という意味があるそう。

「リベスの星」、「リベスのいい畑」という2重の意味があるのです。ちなみに、星のベガは、未来的には地球から見た北極星になるとのこと。しかしそれは12,000年後。壮大なロマンを感じさせます。

ボトルもスパークリングを思わせるようなクラシカルで高級感のある特別仕様。

飲んだときの満足も相当なものですが、開ける前から、手にする前から想像力を刺激するネタは尽きません。

スペインとフランスの国境沿いのカタルーニャ地方にあります。スペイン最高のワイン産地と言われているリオハに次いで評価の高い産地です。バルトラ家は1540年から続くワイン農家です。現在は20代目のエンリックを中心にいとこと共同経営をしています。オーガニック転換はいとこが興味をもったのがきっかけで、「家族のため、消費者の安全のため、環境保存のため」に1981年に転換しました。エンリックはスローフード協会の会員で、絶滅の危険があるぶどう品種の栽培にも取り組んでいます。中でも「マルヴァジャ デ シッジェス」は大変貴重なもので、スローフード協会から次世代に残していくべき品種として「味の箱舟賞」を受賞しています。マルヴァジャは他のぶどうと比べると手がかかる品種ですが、貴重でオリジナリティのあるこの品種を育てていることに彼らは誇りを持っています。
