This dry white wine is made in the Beaune region of Burgundy and is full of the charm of Chardonnay. It has a fruity aroma of citrus fruits and pears, as well as a soft aroma reminiscent of herbs, honey, minerals, fresh cream and butterscotch. The mellow fruitiness is complemented by acidity, and the aftertaste is soft and full-bodied, with an impressive umami flavor. This organic wine allows you to enjoy the flavor of Burgundy Chardonnay.

味わい

「洗練」という言葉は、まさにシャペル家のワインのためにあるのだと、このサントネーは思わせてくれます。

グラスに注ぐと、樽を感じるアロマが一気に広がります。まずアーモンド、ナッツ、バターのニュアンス、それからゆっくりとフルーティなパインやグレープフルーツなどの柑橘類が香ります。グラスを回すと、乳製品を思わせる香りがふわっと立ち、ワクワク感が高まります。

10ヵ月も樽で熟成させただけあって、口の中に広がる感覚はまるでオイルのよう。緻密で粘性のある液体がゆっくり、そして優しく広がります。口の中で広がった後の余韻は思いのほかあっさりとしており、さらさらとした感覚がクセになりそうです。酸味と甘味のバランスが見事にとれており、苦味や収斂性がほぼ感じられないので、エレガントさだけが残ります。

飲み込んだ後に鼻から抜ける火打石のような残り香は、さながら飲み切った後のご褒美のように昇るミネラル感。味の調和も素晴らしく、開放的なアロマも感じられる逸品。

思う存分ブルゴーニュのシャルドネを楽しみたい！という方にお勧めです。

ワインの銘醸地ブルゴーニュ地方の中でも、世界中のワイン愛好家が絶賛する優れた赤ワインと上品で繊細な白ワインが産出されるコート ド ボーヌにあります。1893年にサントネーとシャサーニュに畑を得たことから始まる代々続く名門です。1923年に自家瓶詰を開始しました。現当主のジャンフランソワが土壌について学んだのを機にオーガニックを決意しました。その土地の特徴をワインに表すためには、土の営み・ぶどうの営み・人間の営みを尊重することが必要との結論に至り、2003年に転換しました。多くの区画からなる20haの畑のぶどうは全量手摘みを行い、畑の区画ごとの特性を表現できるワインを心がけています。
