A bold, dry white wine made from Riesling, a noble variety in Alsace, which is famous for its white wines. It has a fruity aroma reminiscent of grapefruit, apples, and quince, with a hint of white flowers and herbs. It is full of minerality and fruitiness, with a clean finish that also feels powerful. This organic wine goes well with cooked fish dishes, as well as pork dishes such as the Alsace local dish choucroute.

味わい

かすかにグリーンを帯びたレモンイエロー。

グレープフルーツや林檎、カリンを思わせる果実香に、白い花やカモミール、さらに清涼感あるハーブの香り。

ミネラル感にあふれ、爽やかながらも複雑さがあり、リースリングの持つ魅力を存分に楽しめる。

味わいにも林檎のような果実味に、綺麗に通った酸味が何とも心地よく、清らかさの中に力強さも感じる白。

オーガニック歴：1969年から（認証は1980年4月デメター・1991年ECOCERT）

アルザス地方でも南寄りのベルクホルツ村にあります。1620年より親から子へと代々引き継がれてきた、歴史のあるワイン農家です。現在は13代目フランソワを中心に栽培から醸造までを行っています。地形的にヴォージュ山脈とアルプス山脈に囲まれた盆地で、冬と夏の寒暖差に加え、年間降雨量も少ないため高品質のワインが生み出されます。メイエー家がオーガニックに転換したのは、12代目のユージェーヌが農薬中毒によって視神経が麻痺するという深刻な事態に陥ったことに因ります。その時にホメオパシーで治癒したことにより、シュタイナーのビオディナミに出会い、1969年に転換することを決意しました。50年以上もビオディナミ農法を続けたことにより、メイエー家のぶどう畑はいきいきとしたエネルギーに満ちています。メイエー家はフランス国内でもビオディナミのパイオニア的存在で知られています。

お正月に魚介が入ったおせちに合わせました。とても相性が良かったです。和食にも合うところがとても気に入りました。
