About the Piva family

Chateau Pouchaud Larquey (Pivat family)

Chateau des Seigneurs de Pommyers (Pivat family)

Organic since 1984

They arrived in Northern Italy and have been making wine for generations, but in 1924 they headed to Entre-de-Mers in the Bordeaux region of France. They purchased Chateau Petit Chaud L'Arque in 1961 and Chateau Seigner de Pommier in 1989, and are making wine under two brands. They have always been practicing organic farming, but they are now paying attention to the environment. The two chateaux cannot be separated, but the differences in altitude and soil result in wines with completely different flavors. Please pay particular attention to the moon when making wine. After the announcement of their ancestors, they will consider the grapes and make wine depending on the movement of the moon. They are one of the most awarded farms, with many awards to their name.
