Due to its Mediterranean climate with little rainfall, the area is dry and has been famous as a wine-producing region since before the Common Era. The history of the farm dates back to the French Revolution of 1789. The Dowell family has never used pesticides or chemical fertilizers on their fields since recorded history. They cherish the things that have been passed down through the generations while also incorporating new sensibilities, such as using Greek Venus statues and brewing vases excavated from the vineyard as motifs for their wine labels. The Dowell family's wines, which are made with the aim of producing delicate and elegant wines, such as harvesting from 3:00 am to 8:00 am, are particularly suitable as an introduction to organic wines.
