This dry sparkling wine is made in the Alsace region of France, on the border with Germany. "Blanc de Noir (white of black)" is a white wine made from the black grape Pinot Noir, and has a beautiful yellow-gold color. It has a gorgeous aroma of orange and white peach compote with honey and acacia flowers. It has just the right amount of volume and minerality, so it goes well with main dishes such as roast chicken.

味わい

うっすら琥珀を帯びた輝くイエローゴールド。細かい泡が立ち昇る。
グラスを近づけると、オレンジや白桃のコンポートにレモンバームなどのハーブ、蜂蜜や、アカシアの花も感じる華やかで気品のある香り。

口に含むと、繊細な泡が舌全体を優しく包み、その後に続く酸味、果実味ともにふんわり柔らかくエレガントに広がる。余韻に感じる蜂蜜とミネラル感が印象的。

アルザス地方でも南寄りのベルクホルツ村にあります。1620年より親から子へと代々引き継がれてきた、歴史のあるワイン農家です。現在は13代目フランソワを中心に栽培から醸造までを行っています。地形的にヴォージュ山脈とアルプス山脈に囲まれた盆地で、冬と夏の寒暖差に加え、年間降雨量も少ないため高品質のワインが生み出されます。メイエー家がオーガニックに転換したのは、12代目のユージェーヌが農薬中毒によって視神経が麻痺するという深刻な事態に陥ったことに因ります。その時にホメオパシーで治癒したことにより、シュタイナーのビオディナミに出会い、1969年に転換することを決意しました。50年以上もビオディナミ農法を続けたことにより、メイエー家のぶどう畑はいきいきとしたエネルギーに満ちています。メイエー家はフランス国内でもビオディナミのパイオニア的存在で知られています。
