A full-bodied red wine made in the Roussillon region of southern France, close to Spain. Its flavor brings out the full appeal of Syrah, grown in fields interspersed with brown mosaic-like schist. It has a dense, complex aroma that combines stewed black cherries, dried figs, spices such as black pepper and nutmeg with a slightly wild aroma of coffee, chocolate, and animal meat. It has a supple, powerful, concentrated fruitiness, elegant acidity, and deep richness, making it a satisfying drink. This organic wine was created with all its might by a winemaker who is in love with Syrah.

紫を帯びた濃い輝きのルビー。

煮詰めたブラックチェリーや干しイチジクに黒胡椒やナツメグ、八角など様々なスパイス、珈琲、ローストや燻製香、スミレの花、チョコレート、動物の肉のようなやや野性味のある香りも感じる。非常に濃密で複雑、深く吸い込まれそうな香り。

口当たりはしなやかで、だが力強く、噛み締めるような濃縮した果実味がいっぱいに広がる。奥からエレガントな酸味が続き、強靭な骨格に深いコクが飲み応え十分。 余韻はいつまでも長く続く。

シラーに人生を捧げる造り手セブリーヌが心底惚れ込んだ畑から生み出す最上級キュヴェ。

スペイン国境に近いルーション地方にあります。テンプル騎士団が掘り起こして作ったという非常に古い歴史を持つ畑です。1998年に購入し、1999年に最初のワインを造りました。地中海性気候で、冬に霜が降りることは滅多になく、夏は暑くなり糖度の高いぶどうが育ちます。子供達に健全な土地を残すため、畑を購入した時からオーガニックを実践しています。栽培、収穫、醸造全てにおいて妥協しない姿勢から完璧主義者と評される妻のセブリーヌが主導となり、ワイン造りをしています。ブーリエ家のワインは強さとしなやかさが共存するエレガントさが特徴です。シャトー名「l’Ou」はカタロニア語で卵の意味で、施設内にある溜池(馬の水飲み場)の形が卵形だったことに由来しています。
