This white wine is made from Johanniter, a rare variety from Franken, Germany. It has a gentle aroma of white peach and pear, acacia and dairy products, and a body with a moderate volume. Its neutral impression gently complements the flavors of food.

Wine Details

taste

Pale lemon yellow.

At first, you will notice a faint scent of white peach and pear, and as the temperature rises, you will notice aromas of acacia, quince, lemon peel, and dairy products such as butter and yogurt.

The acidity is mild, with a moderate volume to the taste. As with the aroma, you can sense the fruitiness of lemon peel, white peach, and pear.

Although the alcohol content is low at 11%, it leaves an impression of full body, and the long aftertaste also has a slight hint of tannins derived from the thick skin of the Johanniter grape variety.

A white wine that can be enjoyed with food or during meals.

About the Stritzinger family

Stritzinger (Stritzinger family) - Family Stritzinger

Organic history: Since 1985 (certified in 1990)

It is located in the village of Klingenberg in the Franconia region of southern Germany, famous for its leisurely roads, about a two-hour drive from Frankfurt. Willi is a pioneer who also served as an advisor to Germany's oldest and largest organic producers' organization, and was originally sensitive to environmental issues, so he converted in 1990. The vineyards are terraced on a steep slope overlooking the Main River. The fields are sunny and warm quickly in the spring, but it is hard work using only small tools to climb the stairs for each plot. By incorporating biodynamic elements, they produce high-quality grapes that are resistant to stress and disease. They make wine with care, such as not adding yeast and using barrels from Germany.
