A medium-weight red wine made in a small village on the beautiful hills overlooking San Gimignano, a World Heritage Site in Tuscany, Italy. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. A top-class red wine from "Chianti". A blend of tank-aged wine and barrel-aged wine, it has a long aftertaste. Its well-balanced flavor is appealing to many wine lovers and is easy to enjoy.

味わい

深みのあるルビーに、エッジには若干の熟成を感じさせるニュアンスの色合いが見られます。

カシスやブラックチェリー、ブラックベリーなどの黒果実の印象が強いアロマに、時間が経つにつれて、ジビエのような野性味のある香りや、ダークチョコレートや甘草などのスイートスパイスの香りも感じられます。熟成による状態の良さがうかがえ、期待感の増す香り。

しっかりとした辛口で、酸味とタンニンのバランスの良い味わい。タンクと樽による熟成でタンニンはソフトで優しい質感になっています。

味わいにも黒果実や甘草、カカオなどが感じられ、そこにブラックペッパーのようなスパイスのニュアンスが加わります。

余韻も長く、時間の経過とともに果実味からスパイス感への変化が楽しめる1本です。

大都市フィレンツェと世界遺産シエナの中間にあるヴィコ デルサにあります。この地区の典型的な地質構成である白と灰色の粘土質が重なった地質と、古代には海の底であったことに由来する赤みがかった黄砂岩の帯からなる多重構造になっています。粘土質が主の土壌で育ったぶどうからは、ワインに複雑さやしっかりとした骨格がもたらされ、砂岩が主の土壌で育ったぶどうからは、軽やかで香り豊かなワインになります。マニョーニ家は1870年にこの土地を購入し、代々受け継がれてきました。自分のワインをどう示せばよいかを追求した結果、オーガニックに辿り着きました。オーガニック農業を実践することにより、何世紀も前からこの地で働いてきた人々との繋がりを感じ、工業的な製法に依存せず、従業員やお客様ともより良い関係を持つことができると感じています。当主のピエトロが理想とするワインは、エレガントで骨格がしっかりとしていて、重すぎず親しみやすいワインです。

ずっしりとした重厚感を感じる、複雑ですてきなワインでした。ごくごく飲むというより、寒い冬にゆっくり飲むのが楽しかったです。
