This is a slightly heavy red wine made from Nero d'Avola, a grape variety native to Sicily, Italy. It has a black fruit aroma with hints of spice, such as blackberries. It has a soft mouthfeel with a sweet and sour fruity flavor. It is made from grapes grown in a field at an altitude of 480m, and is an organic wine with an elegant finish.

味わい

エッジにピンクを帯びて輝くルビー。

ブラックベリーやブルーベリー、干し杏に、クローヴや黒胡椒などのスパイス、ほんのり梅の花やチョコレートの香りも。

口当たりは柔らかで、プラムのような甘酸っぱい果実味がいっぱいに広がる。続く程よいボリューム感、渋みは豊富だがきめ細かい。

オーガニック歴：1990年代から

イタリア シチリア州の中心部、海抜480ｍの丘の上にあります。姉のキャロライナと弟のフランチェスコを中心とした家族経営のワイナリーです。ふたりはワインに惚れ込み、父が大手ワイナリー用に栽培していたぶどうで、実験的にワインを造ってみました。その結果が素晴らしいものだったので、姉弟でワイン造りの体制を整えました。父親のサルヴァドーレは20年以上も前、まだ消費者や大手ワイナリーが気にも止めなかった時代にオーガニック農業をはじめました。息子のフランチェスコはごく自然とそれを引継ぎました。オーガニックは環境に良いというだけではなく、品質も良いものでなければならないと考えています。収穫は全量手摘みで、異なる区画のぶどうを別々に仕込み、それぞれのタンクの出来に応じて、どのようなワインに仕上げていくかを決めています。

初めて飲む品種のワインで、わくわくして購入しました。赤身の牛肉のステーキと一緒にいただきました。語彙が少なくて恥ずかしいのですが、お肉の鉄分？（私は赤身が好きです）が、より美味しく感じられました！
