A medium-weight red wine made in a field overlooking Carcassonne, a World Heritage Site in Languedoc, southern France. This red wine is a blend of four grape varieties: Bordeaux's representative varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and Languedoc's representative varieties Syrah and Grenache. It has a concentrated aroma of black fruits such as black cherries, and a well-balanced taste with firm acidity, tannins, and fruity aromas. It goes well with classic dishes that go well with red wine, such as beef stew.

透明感のある深いルビー色。

グラスに注ぐと、ブラックチェリーやカシス、ブラックベリーなど、凝縮感のある印象的な黒果実に、レッドカラントの赤果実がわずかに混じった香り。

味わいはドライな中重口で、しっかりとした酸味が骨格を支えます。バランスの良い酸味とタンニンが口の中にゆっくりと広がり、余韻まで長く続きます。

果実の香りが感じられ、加えてハーブや黒オリーブを思わせる風味も。

クラシックな造りで、奥深さと実直さを感じる赤ワインです。

Domaine de BRAUは世界遺産で有名なカルカッソンヌ近郊にあります。気候は地中海と大西洋からの影響を受けており、そのおかげで南仏とボルドーの両方のぶどう品種が栽培できます。2020年にレヴォル家が前所有者のタリ家から畑と醸造所を受け継ぎました。タリ家は1980年代からオーガニック農業を続けており、オーガニックワイン農家としてはパイオニア的な存在です。40年以上もオーガニックを続けている畑は生き生きとした生命力で溢れています。レヴォルさんはタリさんが実践していたオーガニック栽培の先を行く、自然農法を目指しています。ワイン造りに関してはタリさんのスタイルを継承せずに、極力樽を避けて、ぶどう本来の風味が引き立つ醸造を目指しています。涼しい夜間に収穫したぶどうを低温で醸造したり、醸造過程ごとの温度管理の徹底、出来たワインをすぐに瓶詰するなどの工夫をしながら、新しいワインの開発に意欲的に取り組んでいます。
