This dry sparkling wine is made in the Alsace region of France, which borders Germany. "Blanc de Noirs (white of black)" is a white wine made from the black grape Pinot Noir, and has a beautiful yellow-gold hue and a gorgeous aroma of orange and white peach compote, honey, and acacia flowers. It has just the right amount of volume and minerality, so it goes well with main dishes such as roast chicken.

Wine Details

taste

Yellow gold with a hint of amber and fine bubbles rising.
When you look at the glass, you can smell the gorgeous and elegant aroma of orange and white peach compote, herbs such as lemon balm, honey, and acacia flowers.

When you put it in your mouth, the delicate bubbles gently wrap around the entire tongue, followed by the acidity and fruitiness that spread softly and elegantly. The honey and minerality of the remaining rhymes are impressive.

About the producers, the Meyer family

Domaine Eugene Meyer (Meyer family)

Organic history: Since 1969 (certified by Demeter in April 1980 and ECOCERT in 1991)

It is located in the village of Bergholz, which is in the southern part of the Alsace region. It is a historic wine farm that has been passed down from parent to child since 1620. Currently, the 13th generation, François, is in charge of everything from cultivation to brewing. The topography is that it is a basin surrounded by the Vosges Mountains and the Alps, and in addition to the large temperature difference between winter and summer, the annual rainfall is low, so high quality wine is considered to be the best. It is said that the reason why the Meyer family changed to organic is because the first generation, Eugène, was in a serious condition in which his optic nerve was paralyzed due to pesticide poisoning. After being cured by homeopathy at that time, he encountered Steiner's biodynamic farming and decided to change in 1969. By continuing to use this farming method, the Meyer family's fields are full of lively energy. The Meyer family is known in France as a pioneer of biodynamic farming.
