This full-bodied red wine is made in southern Provence, France, in a field that has never been sprayed with pesticides since recorded history. It is made using Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah, and Merlot, and has a concentrated aroma of black fruit and spices, and a harmonious balance of fruitiness and firm tannins that develop over time. It is recommended for meat dishes such as steaks and roast beef.

南フランスプロヴァンス地方、セザンヌが好んで何度も描いたサントヴィクトワール山麓のプリエール村にあります。降雨量の少ない地中海性気候のため湿度が低く乾燥しており、紀元前からワイン産地として有名な場所です。農家としての歴史は1789年のフランス革命にまで遡ります。ドウェル家の畑は有史以来一度も農薬や化学肥料を使用したことがありません。敷地内から出土したギリシア時代のヴィーナス像や醸造用の壺をワインラベルのモチーフにするなど、代々守ってきた物を大事にしながら新しい感覚も取り入れています。日中の熱でぶどうが痛まないように収穫は午前3時から8時に行うなど、繊細で上品なワインを造ることを心がけているドウェル家のワインは、オーガニックワインの最初の入り口に特にふさわしいワインです。

It's delicious. It has no strong flavor and anyone can enjoy it. And at this price. I think it's worth more than the price. If you want to drink red wine but don't know which one to choose, start with this wine. I don't think you can go wrong with this wine.
