This full-bodied red wine is made from grapes grown in the sunny hills of Asti in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. It is made from Monferrato Nebbiolo, Piedmont's star grape variety, and is aged for one year in wooden barrels. It has a very elegant finish with a well-balanced soft fruitiness and acidity, and a scent of dried fruits such as prunes and raisins, and spices such as tobacco and nutmeg. It is also rich in tannins, which leave a strong impression on the aftertaste.

味わい

わずかにレンガを帯びたガーネット。

プルーンやレーズンなどのドライフルーツに、この葡萄の特徴であるタバコの香り。またナツメグなどのスパイス、土やドライフラワー。干し肉のニュアンスもある複雑な香り。

熟したようなやや柔らかい果実味の中に、とてもしっかりとした酸味を感じる非常にエレガントな仕上がり。その後は豊富なタンニンが余韻にまで強く印象を残します。

イタリア北部ピエモンテ州のサンマルツァノットにあります。ピエモンテ州はイタリア全土の中でも1位2位を争うワイン銘醸地です。1880年から代々続くワイン農家で、現在は3兄弟でワイナリーを運営しており、ワイン造りは長男の息子エンリコが中心となって行っています。地中海性気候により、ぶどうの成長期・結実期・夏の終わりに太陽がよく照ることでよく熟した実が収穫できます。化学合成物質のない場所で、暮らし・働くため。また私たちの美しい大地を救い、守っていくため1985年に転換しました。収穫は全て手摘み、電力はソーラーパネルでまかなっています。多くの種類のぶどうを栽培し、数種類のワインを造っていますが、そのワインごとに畑や造り方を細かく変えてそれぞれのワインの特徴を表現しています。ワイナリー内には宿泊施設とレストランがあり、出される食材も全て敷地内でオーガニックで育てたものを提供しています。
