A white wine made from Johanniter, a rare variety from Franken, Germany. You can enjoy the gentle aroma of white peach and pear, acacia and dairy products, and a moderately voluminous body. Its neutral impression gently complements the flavors of food.

味わい

淡いレモンイエロー。

はじめは白桃や洋梨がほのかに香り、温度が上がるにつれてアカシア、花梨、レモンピールや、バターやヨーグルトなどの乳製品の香りも。

酸味は穏やかで、ほどよいボリュームを感じる味わい。香りと同様にレモンピールや白桃、洋梨などの果実味を感じます。

アルコール度数は11％と低めですが、ふくよかなボディの印象が残り、また長い余韻の中にはぶどう品種であるヨハニターの厚い皮由来のタンニンもわずかに感じられます。

食中酒としてお料理と一緒に楽しめる白ワインです。

オーガニック歴：1985年から（認証取得は1990年）

フランクフルトから車で2時間ほどのロマンチック街道で有名なドイツ南部のフランケン地方・クリンゲンベルグ村にあります。前当主ヴィリが村のワイナリーで働き始め、翌年1972年に小さな畑を買ってワイン造りを始めました。ヴィリはドイツ最古で最大のビオ生産者団体でのアドバイザーも務めたパイオニアで、元々環境問題に敏感だった為1990年に転換しました。畑はマイン川を見下ろす急斜面にありテラス式になっています。日当たりも良く春もすぐに暖かくなる畑ですが、1区画ごとに階段を上り小さな道具だけを使う重労働です。一部ビオディナミの要素を取り入れ、ストレスや病気に強く質の良いぶどうに仕上げています。酵母は添加せず、樽はドイツ産を使うなどこだわったワイン造りをしています。
