Wine Details

Taste

Shiny pale yellow gold.
Fine bubbles rise to the top in beautiful, thread-like formations.

The nose is dominated by fruity aromas such as ripe grapefruit and green apple, with hints of white flowers, limestone minerals, yeast, and spices.

In the mouth, you can taste the concentrated fruitiness, which is well balanced with the fresh bubbles, and the aftertaste is full-bodied and voluminous.

The Bio Sur (slightly sweet) wine, which also shares the name Clairette de Dy, is the signature wine of sparkling wine craftsman Achard, who only produces sparkling wines. It is made using the traditional ancient methods of Dy, with no added sugar or yeast.

On the other hand, this Clairette de di Brut (dry) is, as its name suggests, dry. It is made by secondary fermentation in the bottle, just like Champagne and Crémant.

About the producers, the Achard family

Domaine Achard-Vincent (Achard family)

Organic history: Since the dawn of history (certified in 1982)

This organic wine farm has been in business for six generations and is located in Dey, which is located right in the center of the Rhone region. The hills at an altitude of 400 meters are sunny 300 days a year and have a large temperature difference between day and night, making it an ideal environment for grape cultivation. They have protected their fields without ever using pesticides or chemical fertilizers. They obtained organic certification in 1982. In order to increase the vitality of the soil in the fields and better express the characteristics of the land, they have been using biodynamic farming methods since 2005. The Achard family is a true bubbles craftsman who has dedicated their lives to bubbles and only makes bubbles. They are committed to capturing the splendor of nature and delivering it as aroma in the glass.
