A full-bodied red wine made on a farm at an altitude of 450m in Sicily. It uses a local variety called Nero d'Avola. It has a scent of stewed red fruits such as cranberries, with aromas of orange, vanilla, and eucalyptus. It has a gorgeous acidity and a fine tannin lingering in the aftertaste. "Rose" is the name given to the vineyard, and this is a carefully selected bottle made from grapes from a special location. It is an organic wine with a very easy-to-use taste.

Wine Details

Taste

Shiny ruby.

The aroma is of simmered cranberries and other red fruits with hints of orange, vanilla, licorice, and eucalyptus. As time passes, the scent of roses also spreads from the background.

When you put it in your mouth, a bright and gorgeous acidity spreads among the smooth fruitiness, and the aftertaste is finely astringent.

About the producers, the Cucurullo family

Masseria del Feudo (Cucururo family)
Organic history: Since the 1990s

It is located on a hill 480m above sea level in the center of Sicily, Italy. It is a family-run winery centered around Carolina and Francesco. The two fell in love with wine and tried making wine experimentally with grapes that their father had grown for a major winery. The results were excellent, so the siblings established a winemaking system. Their father, Salvador, started organic farming more than 20 years ago, when consumers and major wineries had not yet paid any attention to it. Francesco, the son, took over the business quite naturally. They believe that organic is not only good for the environment, but also has to be of good quality. All the harvest is hand-picked, and grapes from different plots are brewed separately, and the type of wine to be made is decided based on the quality of each tank.
