This is a full-bodied red wine made with Nero d'Avola, a local Sicilian grape variety, and has a rich, satisfying flavor. After aging for 18 months in oak barrels, it is bottled and then aged for another 12 months in the bottle to ensure the highest quality. The concentrated fruit aroma reminiscent of dried prunes blends with various elements such as cocoa and brown honey. It is an organic wine with an elegant and rich flavor, with a strong fruitiness and acidity, and a cocoa aroma in the aftertaste.

奥に黒みのある濃いめのガーネット。

ドライプルーンを思わせる凝縮した果実の香りに、カカオ、スミレの花、黒蜜など様々な要素が溶け合う濃密な香り。

口に含むと、力強い果実味の中に生き生きとした酸味が広がり、エレガントだが濃厚な味わいで余韻も非常に長い。後味にもカカオのフレーバー。

オーガニック歴：1990年代から

イタリア シチリア州の中心部、海抜480ｍの丘の上にあります。姉のキャロライナと弟のフランチェスコを中心とした家族経営のワイナリーです。ふたりはワインに惚れ込み、父が大手ワイナリー用に栽培していたぶどうで、実験的にワインを造ってみました。その結果が素晴らしいものだったので、姉弟でワイン造りの体制を整えました。父親のサルヴァドーレは20年以上も前、まだ消費者や大手ワイナリーが気にも止めなかった時代にオーガニック農業をはじめました。息子のフランチェスコはごく自然とそれを引継ぎました。オーガニックは環境に良いというだけではなく、品質も良いものでなければならないと考えています。収穫は全量手摘みで、異なる区画のぶどうを別々に仕込み、それぞれのタンクの出来に応じて、どのようなワインに仕上げていくかを決めています。
