Wine Details

Taste

Made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, an indigenous variety from Sicily, the moment you pour it into your glass, you will be enchanted by its beautiful color and clarity.

When you bring the glass close to your nose, you can smell the fruity and floral aromas. Delicate strawberry aromas with raspberry and cherry. The bouquet scent of various flowers including violets also spreads. Every scent is lovely, and if you close your eyes, you will feel like you are in nature, surrounded by ripening fruit.

It has an elegant, expansive flavor, a dry structure, and a firm acidity. It also has a slight tannin and soft texture reminiscent of red wines made from Nero d'Avola. It also has a subtle sweet fruitiness that adds depth to the flavor.

After savoring the taste to the very end, what remains is the lovely fruity aroma you felt earlier, plus a rich aroma reminiscent of plum jam. The beautiful acidity and fruity aftertaste lingers on the tongue for a long time, making for a very satisfying taste from start to finish.

This is a bottle that you can enjoy regardless of the season.

About the producers, the Cucurullo family

Masseria del Feudo (Cucururo family)
Organic history: Since the 1990s

It is located on a hill 480m above sea level in the center of Sicily, Italy. It is a family-run winery centered around Carolina and Francesco. The two fell in love with wine and tried making wine experimentally with grapes that their father had grown for a major winery. The results were excellent, so the siblings established a winemaking system. Their father, Salvador, started organic farming more than 20 years ago, when consumers and major wineries had not yet paid any attention to it. Francesco, the son, took over the business quite naturally. They believe that organic is not only good for the environment, but also has to be of good quality. All the harvest is hand-picked, and grapes from different plots are brewed separately, and the type of wine to be made is decided based on the quality of each tank.
