A dry white wine made in a vineyard overlooking Carcassonne, a World Heritage Site in Languedoc, southern France. Made with 100% Viognier, it has floral aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle, as well as tropical fruit aromas of pineapple and white peach. The flavor opens up more when the temperature is a little higher, so please take your time to enjoy it.

味わい

透明感のあるレモンイエロー。

オレンジの花やハニーサックル、ジャスミンのフローラルな香りに、白桃やパイナップル、アプリコットなどの白果実の香り。ほのかにレモンやライムの柑橘系のニュアンスも感じられます。

味わいはドライですが、レヴォルさんのワインの中では酸味は控えめ。 まろやかな口当たりがリッチで、香りにも感じられたトロピカルな果実味がしっかりと広がります。

温度が低い状態では香りや味わいが控えめに感じられるので、ぜひ室温程度に戻してゆっくりとお楽しみください。

ヴィオニエらしい上質な香りと味わいが楽しめる、満足度の高い1本です。

Domaine de BRAUは世界遺産で有名なカルカッソンヌ近郊にあります。気候は地中海と大西洋からの影響を受けており、そのおかげで南仏とボルドーの両方のぶどう品種が栽培できます。2020年にレヴォル家が前所有者のタリ家から畑と醸造所を受け継ぎました。タリ家は1980年代からオーガニック農業を続けており、オーガニックワイン農家としてはパイオニア的な存在です。40年以上もオーガニックを続けている畑は生き生きとした生命力で溢れています。レヴォルさんはタリさんが実践していたオーガニック栽培の先を行く、自然農法を目指しています。ワイン造りに関してはタリさんのスタイルを継承せずに、極力樽を避けて、ぶどう本来の風味が引き立つ醸造を目指しています。涼しい夜間に収穫したぶどうを低温で醸造したり、醸造過程ごとの温度管理の徹底、出来たワインをすぐに瓶詰するなどの工夫をしながら、新しいワインの開発に意欲的に取り組んでいます。
