This medium-bodied red wine is made from 100% Syrah from Sicily, Italy. It has the aroma of fresh red cherries, blackberries and sweet spices like licorice. The acidity and fresh fruitiness are well balanced, and the fine tannins give this wine a great sense of potential.

味わい

赤紫色を帯びた濃い色合い。

摘みたてのレッドチェリー、ブラックベリー、カシスやプラムなどのフレッシュな果実に、ほのかにリコリスのような甘いスパイスを感じる香り。

しっかりとした酸味と、瑞々しい果実味のバランスがよく綺麗な味わいに仕上がっています。

タンニンは若干の若さを感じるものの、でにきめ細かくも驚く程滑らか。初めに感じた酸味が落ち着いてくると、果実味やタンニンのクオリティの高さをより感じます。

オーガニック歴：1990年代から

イタリア シチリア州の中心部、海抜480ｍの丘の上にあります。姉のキャロライナと弟のフランチェスコを中心とした家族経営のワイナリーです。ふたりはワインに惚れ込み、父が大手ワイナリー用に栽培していたぶどうで、実験的にワインを造ってみました。その結果が素晴らしいものだったので、姉弟でワイン造りの体制を整えました。父親のサルヴァドーレは20年以上も前、まだ消費者や大手ワイナリーが気にも止めなかった時代にオーガニック農業をはじめました。息子のフランチェスコはごく自然とそれを引継ぎました。オーガニックは環境に良いというだけではなく、品質も良いものでなければならないと考えています。収穫は全量手摘みで、異なる区画のぶどうを別々に仕込み、それぞれのタンクの出来に応じて、どのようなワインに仕上げていくかを決めています。

シラー 赤 - マセリア デル フェウド

シラーが大好きなので購入しました。シルクのような飲み心地で、夢見心地になります。甘さのあるシラーに感じました。このワインに出会って、シラーのワインがさらに好きになりました。ぜひまた飲みたいです。
