Wine Details

Taste

A shining ruby with a purple hue.

The aroma of ripe plums, dark cherries and gorgeous purple flowers is impressive. A beautiful fragrance that perfectly harmonizes many elements such as various spices, roasted aromas and a slightly animal aroma.

The mouthfeel is smooth, and the flavor is overflowing with ripe fruit. It is satisfying to drink and has astringency, but also has a clean acidity and an elegant finish.

About the Capriotti family

Poderi San Lazzaro (Capriotti family)
Organic history: Since the dawn of history (certified in 2007)

It is located in Offida, Marche, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. For generations, grapes have been grown organically in this village and wine has been made for the family. The winery was established and winemaking began in earnest in 2005. Although it gets hot in the summer, the winds blowing down from the Apennine Mountains to the west into the Adriatic Sea provide excellent ventilation, making it an ideal climate for growing grapes. The vineyards are protected and have never used chemical fertilizers or herbicides. They are committed to using indigenous varieties of Marche, and aim to create wines that express the land while also having a harmonious aroma and flavor.
