A light, fruity red wine made in the Veneto region of Italy. Made from 100% Merlot, it has a rich aroma of blackcurrant and sweet and sour aromas of cranberry, giving it a fruity flavor similar to mixed berry juice. It is an organic wine that can be enjoyed in any situation, with a smooth and pleasant taste.

味わい

やや濃い目のルビー。

煮詰めたブラックチェリーに土や、クローヴなどのスパイスの香りが特徴的。まさにメルローの持つ香りを余すところなく表現。可愛らしい果実味を感じる中に、スパイシーな複雑さも併せ持つ香り。

口当たりは穏やかで、優しい果実味とともに広がる酸味が印象的。渋みも優しいので、和洋中問わずぜひさまざまなお料理と試してみたい。

イタリア・ヴェネト州東部のプラマッジョーレにあります。自分自身のぶどう畑で育てたぶどうからできるワインを造るワイナリーを建設するという夢を実現し1972年に設立しました。20haからスタートした畑は30haに拡大しました。湿気が多くオーガニックでぶどうを栽培するのは難しい土地です。しかし環境に優しい農法を行うことに決め1999年にオーガニック転換しました。「オーガニックワインを飲むこと、オーガニックワインを造ること、それはライフスタイルである」とオーガニックワインを造る選択をしたことを誇りに思っています。収穫のたびにより良いものを生み出したいと挑戦し続けています。
