Wine Details

Taste

Very pale, transparent lemon yellow.

The refreshing aroma is reminiscent of youthful pineapple and white peach, lemon peel, candied pear, white flowers, herbs, and green grass, making you want to inhale deeply.

When you put it in your mouth, the first thing you taste is the refreshing fruitiness, which is supported by a very pleasant acidity that lingers on your palate. It's truly fresh and fruity, with an excellent balance.

The winemaker Martin describes this wine as "a wine that makes you feel like you're dipping your feet in water at the beginning of the year," and it really does fit that description perfectly. When you drink it, you can experience that same cool, comfortable feeling.

About the Diwald family

Weingut Diwald (Diwald family)

Organic history: Since 1980

It is located in a quiet and beautiful natural area not far from the capital Vienna. The son Martin is in charge of everything from cultivation to brewing. His father Hans has been practicing organic farming since the 1980s, when there was no understanding of organic farming, and says, "If there are people who say they can't grow organically, they should try it, even if only partially. Everyone knows that we don't need herbicides. I don't need them just because it's convenient." They aim to make the purest wine possible without adding any yeast, enzymes, or nutrients. The only thing the Diwald family does is adjust the temperature. They aim to make wine that is unique to the land and rooted in the earth.
