The aroma is of stewed black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry. The fruitiness is soft but concentrated, and the acidity is well balanced. The aftertaste is finely astringent, and the impression of black fruits lingers on the palate. This wine has an oriental essence and is easy to drink, making it easy to pair with Chinese and Asian cuisine.

味わい

エッジにピンクを帯びたやや濃い目のルビー。

プラムに、カシスやブラックベリーのような黒い果物を煮詰めた香り。またシナモンやクローヴなどの様々なスパイスがふんだんに香る。さらにスミレや、少し土の香りも。

口に含むと、柔らかだが凝縮感のある果実味と非常にバランスの良い酸味。後味にはきめの細かい渋味と、余韻にまで黒い果物の印象が残る。

香りの中に五香粉や烏龍茶の茶葉のような、東洋的なニュアンスを感じるので、中華料理をはじめとするアジアの料理にぜひ合わせてみたい赤。

首都ウィーンからさほど遠くない静かで美しい自然が広がる場所にあります。息子マーチンを中心に栽培から醸造までを行っています。父のハンスはオーガニックに理解などない時代(1980年)から実践しており、「もし、オーガニック栽培ができないという人がいるなら、たとえ一部でもチャレンジしてみるべきです。誰でも除草剤は必要ないと知っています。ただそれが便利だからというだけなら私には必要ありません」と、言います。心がけているのは、酵母、酵素、栄養分といったものは一切加えず、可能な限りピュアなワインを造ること。ディヴァルト家で手を加えるといえば、温度調節くらいです。その土地特有の、地球に根ざしたワイン造りを目指しています。
