This is a particularly high-quality red wine from the Chevran family's aged Beaujolais. It has a gorgeous aroma of stewed strawberries, blackcurrants and roses and violets. It has a smooth mouthfeel, elegant acidity and a perfect balance of supple fruitiness.

味わい

紫を帯びたルビー。

煮詰めた苺やカシスなどの凝縮感のある果実香に薔薇やスミレの香りが華やか。かすかにナツメグやクローヴ、ロースト香や 動物的な赤身の肉などが溶け合うアロマティックな香り。

アタックは滑らか。上品な酸味を伴ってしなやかに広がる果実味。余韻にはきめ細かい渋み。

香りから口に含んで最後の余韻までこの上なく美しいボジョレー。

ボジョレーの南西端の丘陵部にあります。少なくとも5世代前からぶどう作りを続けている家系で、祖父の代からワイン農家です。現当主のフランソワは農業学校で教鞭をとっていましたが、先代の引退を機に引き継ぎました。西側にはボジョレーの山々が広がり、この地域特有の強い風からぶどうを守ってくれます。ビオディナミを実践する友人に出会い、品質、味ともに優れたワインを造り出していることに感銘を受け2008年転換を決めました。
ボジョレーヌーヴォーはもちろんのこと、シュブラン家が造るワインは昔ながらの醸造方法で造られています。これによりテロワールをよく反映したワインが生まれます。
