He has been growing grapes in the southern part of the Beaujolais region for five generations. After being impressed by the wines of a friend who practices biodynamic farming, he decided to switch to organic farming in 2008. He practices this himself and pursues winemaking that makes the most of the terroir.

The Rampon family (Beaujolais, France)
Since 1983
Since 1977, they have owned a small 3-hectare vineyard in the village of Reignier, located north of the Beaujolais region famous for Beaujolais Nouveau. They are a thoroughly handmade wine maker, using horses for plowing, hand harvesting, and even human power for pressing. The gentleness of their wine is a reflection of the personality of the wine maker.
