Parker Point
Parker Points are one of the most influential indicators currently used by wine critic Robert M. Parker Jr. in The Wine Advocate, a magazine for wine traders, where wines are compared and introduced on a scale of 100 points. Appearance, aroma, taste, etc. are scored in detailed categories, with 80 points or more being " Quite good ", 90 points or more being " Outstanding ", and 96 points or more being " Extraordinary ". Most wines are rated "average" at 80 points or less , and wines above that are used as a guide for delicious wines.
